WHAT'S IN THE STIMULUS PACKAGE? Community, Economic & Workforce Developers Want to Know Feb-March 09
With the passage of the American Recovery and Revitalization Act of 2009, ARRA there are a variety of questions of what is available for the purposes of business, community, economic, workforce development and redevelopment.
In addition, the Obama Administration released a new logo reflective of the Ammerican Recovery Act that will be required to be posted on signage illustrating every project supported by the act.
The ARRA is 1,100 pages in length. The California Business Minute has tried to summarize some of the key elements in a shorter version. | CALIFORNIA HAS A BUDGET! Feb.-March 2009
The Legislature after a marathon session passed a state budget and Governor Schwarzenegger signed it into law last week. The budget call for a series of actions, including spending cuts, tax increases, borrowing and economic stimulus to move the 8th largest economy back into motion.
