Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.

This week San Francisco was named in the top ten ‘craziest cities in the nation’,
see 03-16-10 Minute.  But beyond this distinction, it has also been named one of
the greenest cities in the Nation in a ranking by the American City Business Journals.

The "Green City Index." is index that takes into account statistics using 20 different
indicators of a city's "greenness," including adoption of green technologies,
utilization of environmentally sound practices and air and water quality.

The communities ranked are based solely on communities where the American City
Business Journals have business weeklies, plus Indianapolis and Cleveland. Sorry,
San Diego, Fresno, San Bernardino and Riverside.
