Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute
If you looking to tie one on, California and Texas apparently are the
states to be as many cities are ranked as the ‘drunkest cities’ in the
nation.
Men's Health magazine ranked 100 major U.S. cities in terms of sobriety.
Men’s Health compiled statistics based on death rates from alcoholic liver
disease, alcohol-involved car crashes, frequency of binge-drinking in the
past month, number of DWI arrests, and severity of DWI penalties.
The following list the Top Ten Drunkest Cities for 2010.
1. Fresno
2. Reno
3. Billings
4. Riverside
5. Austin
6. St. Louis
7. San Antonio
8. Lubbock
9. Tucson
10. Bakersfield
Other California cities include Modesto 12; Sacramento 20; San Diego 27;
Los Angeles 48 Anaheim 57; Oakland 75; San Jose 79 and San Francisco 86;
