Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.
San Jose has been named the”Best City in the Nation to Work” in a new study. In fact California owns this list as San Jose is joined by three other California cities in the top ten according to the online career site CareerBliss.
The study outlined the top fifty cities evaluating an average score combining eight factors that affect work happiness: growth opportunities, compensation, benefits, work-life balance, career advancement, senior management, job security and whether the employee would recommend the company to others

1. San Jose 2. San Francisco 3. Jacksonville, FL 4. Miami, FL 5. Washington DC 6. Memphis, TN 7. El Paso, TX 8. Los Angeles 9. San Diego 10. Birmingham, AL
Other California cities in the rankings included Fresno at 16th and Sacramento at 28th.
