Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.
San Jose remains in the “Top Ten Best Cities for Men’s Health” according to the
2011 annual ranking by Men’s Health magazine. The magazine delved into the data
from the usual assortment of alphabet agencies (CDC, FBI, and EPA). They examined
the 100 largest cities by 37 different criterions, from man killers (heart disease,
cancer, and so forth) to man thrillers (ratio of single men to single women). The
following identifies the Top Ten.
TOP TEN BEST CITIES FOR MEN’S HEALTH
1. Madison, WI
2. Fargo, ND
3. Plano, TX
4. Burlington, VT
5. San Jose, CA
6. Lincoln, NE
7. Austin, TX
8. Aurora, CO
9. Virginia Beach, VA
10. Seattle, WA
Santa Ana is ranked 13th; San Diego 19th; San Francisco 23rd; Oakland 31st; Los Angeles
40th; Sacramento 47th; Fresno 57th; Riverside 58th; Stockton 76th;
Bakersfield 71st.
