Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.
Bakersfield and Fresno are some of the best cities for single moms to live in the
nation according to a new report released by the real estate company Zwillow.
Zwillow based their methodology on five metrics that measure affordability. They
include:
• Women’s annual earning as a percentage of men’s earnings
• Public education spending per student
• FBI violent crime rates
• Cost of Transportation
• Price to income ratio measuring affordability
The following lists the top ten cities in the nation as identified by this methodology.

3. Bakersfield
4. Ann Arbor, MI
5. Ft. Meyer, FL
6. Fresno
