Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.
The Website Relocate America.com has released its list for the Best Cities for 2010.
This year’s focus was on communities poised for recovery and future growth. The
emphasis on this year’s efforts was based on strong local leadership, employment
opportunities, thriving community commitment, improving real estate markets, growing
green incubators plentiful recreational opportunities and overall high quality of life.
TOP TEN BEST CITIES FOR BUSINESS
1. Huntsville, AL
2. Washington DC
3. Austin , TX
4. San Diego
5. San Antonio, TX
6. Tulsa, Ok
7. Charlotte, NC
8. Raleigh NC
9. Boulder, CO
10. Minneapolis, MN
In fairness to the review 7 out of the 10 locations are new to this year’s list.
Huntsville jumped 5 spots to the number one position. Tulsa dropped 6 positions and
Raleigh dropped 4 positions.
For California, while San Diego was ranked in the Top Ten, honorable mention went to
the smaller cities of Temecula, Santa Cruz and Vacaville.
