California Business Minute™

Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.

Money.com has released its annual list of the ’Best Places to Live’ the list
of America’s small cities.  This year’s list was culled by looking at cities
from 50,000 to 300,000, different from last year’s review of towns from 8,500
to 50,000.  The methodology used information from the Census Bureau and Dept.
of Labor.  It also included information on
financial, housing, education and quality of life issues.

 Top Ten Best Places To Live
1. Eden Prairie, MN
2. Columbia/Ellicott City, MD
3. Newton, MA
4. Bellevue, WA
5. McKinney, TX
6. Fort Collins, CO
7. Overland Park, KS
8. Fishers, IN
9. Ames, IA
10. Rogers, AR

Representing the Golden State is Irvine, ranked the highest at number 22 followed
by Yorba Linda at 38, Pleasanton at 63 and Rocklin at 65.  It appears that if you
like snow and rain, this year’s list is for you.
