Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute
CNNMoney, released their rankings of the top earning towns in the nation. Two
California cities make the list based upon median family income, Palo Alto’s
$153,615 and Newport Beach is at $144,917.
1. Bethesda, MD
2. Greenwich, CT
3. Palo Alto
4. Newport Beach
5. Lower Merion, PA
6. Newton, PA
7. Fairfield, CT
8. Greenburgh, NY
9. Burke, VA
10. Naperville, IL
Of interest in 2009, only Hermosa Beach made the list. In 2008 Saratoga was the
highest ranked town from the state at 4th followed by Los Altos 6th;Danville 13th;
Manhattan Beach 16th; La Canada-Flintridge 17th;Los Gatos 19th and Lafayette 21st.
