Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute

The most dangerous jobs to have according to recently published information
from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, BLS include those jobs where weather,
height and use of equipment place people at high risk

However, America’s workplace is safer than ever, as only but unfortunately
4,340 people died on the job last year, down 16.8 percent from 2008.

1. Commercial fisherman
2. Loggers
3. Airplane Pilots
4. Farmers and Ranchers
5. Roofers
6. Iron Workers
7. Sanitation Workers
8. Machinists
9. Truck Drivers
10. Construction Laborers

The January 9, 2009 Minute identified that JobsRated.com completed a review
of the Top Ten Worst jobs list. It included some of the jobs listed such as
logger, roofer, farmer, and iron worker
