Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.
California’s economy may be slow growing, but it is still home to the largest number
of fastest growing businesses in the nation according to the 30th annual INC 500
“Fastest Growing Companies.”
California continues its top position as having the largest number of companies
on the Inc. 500, with 89, down three from last year but up from 84 in 2009. The
Golden State is followed by Florida with 33 up from 29 in 2010; Texas at 32 down
from 52; New York at 33 down from 36 and Illinois at 18.
