The Worst for Walking

Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.
Walking could be dangerous to your health if you live in Florida, but not so
much if you live in California according to a newly released study.
The organization, Transportation for America released a new study that ranks
the worst cities in the nation to walk. Apparently, Florida locks up this
ranking, as four out of the top ten worst spots to walk in the nation are in
Florida. And if you live in the south, some of the very cities ranked as the
best place for business are ranked as the worst places to walk.

1. Orlando
2. Tampa
3. Miami
4. Jacksonville
5. Memphis
6. Raleigh
7. Louisville
8. Houston
9. Birmingham
10. Atlanta
California cities ranked as follows: Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario #18;
Sacramento#22; San Jose- Sunnyvale- Santa Clara #25; Los Angeles-Long Beach-
Santa Ana #27; San Diego-Carlsbad-San Marcos #33.
