CALIFORNIA BUSINESS MINUTE Murrieta - Temecula 12-16-10
Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.
The cities of Murrieta and Temecula recently voted unanimously to establish a joint venture to promote their region as the "Twin Cities of Southern California Marketing Partnership."
The partnership is designed unite the adjacent cities in their efforts to attract and expand business and to create and retain jobs and businesses along with their expansion.
The partnership will also work on creating a general awareness of the area and its many benefits such as a business friendly atmosphere, high quality of life, well-educated workforce, competitive housing prices and close proximity to San Diego, Orange and Los Angeles counties," declared the agenda reports.
In addition a marketing campaign was designed to raise the area’s recognition outside the county limits, generating leads that will result in business start¬ups and/or relocation or expansions to and in the area, according to the official documents.
The joint marketing plan includes activities such as marketing outreach, trade show attendance, print advertising and business special events.
