California Business Minute™

Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.

In June 2006, the U.S. House of Representatives passed Resolution 699 in support of
entrepreneurship. The Resolution calls for the following:

•  Encourages the implementation of entrepreneurship education
•  Supports the goals and ideals of National Entrepreneurship Week
   so that the people of the United States are reminded of the contributions
   of entrepreneurs and so that educators are encouraged to reflect on how
   entrepreneurship education can improve the performance of their students
• The President will issue a proclamation, calling on the federal, state
   and local governments, schools, nonprofit organization and others to
   annually observe National Entrepreneurship Week.

A variety of activities are going on in Washington D.C. and across the country including
California
