CALIFORNIA BUSINESS MINUTE LAXpectations 03-11-08
Hi, I am Tim Johnson and welcome to the California Business Minute.
Los Angeles Internationals electronic version of their newsletter LAXpectations highlights the completion of the first of three phases of construction on the International Terminal customs arrival hall including the opening of four new state-of-the-art airline lounges. In addition it provides construction progress on the International Terminals departure ticketing lobby and the restoration of the exterior of the Theme Building (including the re-opening of the space-age themed Encounter Restaurant).
Regular features on the web page include fact sheets describing the various capital improvement construction projects, including the International Terminal Modernization, Central Terminal Area Refurbishment Program, In-Line Baggage Screening Systems, and South Airfield Improvement Project. The web page also provides alerts on construction impacts to passengers, airport employees and visitors to LAX.
The latest developments and status of the multi-billion-dollar capital improvement program at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) are now available in the latest issue of the electronic quarterly newsletter, LAXpectations -- Better Travel Ahead, found at .
I am Tim Johnson and this has been the California Business Minute.
