ADVISORY SERIVCES TO PRIVATE SECTOR
Ombudsman services provide technical support and assistance to business and industry or even
other governments in a variety of ways in doing business in California. For example, a remedial
or primer is performed for the client to understand the business and economic landscape of
California. An introduction on how to do business in California, the worlds 8th largest economy
is provided to clients new to California. Services are provided on a host of items such as
understanding the rules, regulations and permitting activities associated with business operations
and development in the state. It also includes site selection assistance, including business
incentive analysis and negotiations, understanding how to achieve, abatements, deferrals
and exemptions on costs of doing business. Additionally, representative services are provided
to communities and states interested in performing business recruitment and economic
development promotion activities in the state.
INTERIM ASSIGNMENTS
Provide temporary assignments for full or part-time positions assisting public, private and
non-profit organizations in business, community, economic, workforce development and
